Had a request to share this dope LP. Tracks are from '89 to '93, but the LP was released in '95. If anyone is holding their other release feel free to share it! Obviously these guys are from New York. Sadly there is one track missing on it, but I hope you'll manage anyway. I also want to give some shoutouts to born2wice for sharing it to me!
Here's a really great record out of New York(?). It was released 1995 and it's pretty hard to get your hands on. So here it is in non-physical form for you. I guess some people have heard it before since I used a track from it in one of my compilations a while back. A really amazing record with a great production & an fantastic flow by Amar.
I'll continue on the CD trend and I'll also continue not to post full album in big respect to the group which sells this right now. You can BUY this album because it's just as dope as Tha Grimm Teachaz album which I made a post about earlier.
Some information about the crew:
Some people may have heard about Lastrawze from their Big Respect release from 1995 which is just insane. I personally have their "Come On In" track as one of my favorite tracks ever! I'll see if I can manage to get the video of "Big Respect" for you as a bonus!
Lastrawze is Mr. Vibe, Grand Phunk & D-Rhythm and they're from Miami, Florida. Album only costs $10 so be sure to cop it because it's dope fuck! I'll upload a track on YouTube so you can hear:
Hello fellow readers. This is a post I do because I had a request to share this tape and I figured I might as well blog it. It's an okey tape! Some nice cuts on it with the best one being "Poetry Session".
I know lotsa cats have been wanting to hear this shit out! As of some days back I had only heard "Hate" (which I used in my second or third compilation way back). Today I post this full tape! The props should obviously go to the original ripper of this whoever that is. I just want as many people as possible to hear this shit out because it really shouldn't go unnoticed.
anotha dope request in the chatbox. here's a really obscure release outta stocktown, sweden. the group "sherlock" consists of thomas rusiak, peewee, speedknock, seb-rock & infra red. dis were their first release and they got more dopeness which i can post if u like..
Pretty dope 12" outta New Jersey. Released on Cipher Records in 1995. I've always wanted to hear this record and I guess a lot of you guys as well. Either way, the winner is "Mulah $$$" without any question! What you guys think?
here's a dope crew outta nebraska, first up is their unreleased ep from 1995. the winner track for me gotta be either this down here or the "headcrack" joint, can't say...both are insane! ENJOY!
Waddap headz! How did you like my mix? I'm going to continue doing some mixes I think!
Some guy requested this and it's too dope to not do a post about!
It was released on Phunky Skunk Music in 1995 and features five different emcees. Props, Pashun 'N' Da Loonatik, 3rd Degree and B Supa. I don't know much about these rappers apart from that 3rd Degree is from New Jersey and you might be familiar by him from his "Travel Trough Darkness" release (Very good). So if anyone got anymore information about the other rappers please feel free to add it in the comment section!
The winner tracks on this EP for me are these two tracks below:
Don't flip out yo! Pashun 'N' Da Loonatik - Lyrical High makes me high!
Download EP (Sorry that there are no instrumentals on it)
By the way, my man Moriarty did a dope blend on that "OoliOo" track by The Hoodz! Give it a listen trough here and tell me what you think of it, will you? I find it better than the original!:
Cookies to the one who first says which instrumental he used!
Yeah.. this guy reminds me of Sticky Fingaz. Same raw style & explicit lyrics, but 25 is Life brings that flava & boom bap on top of his raw voice & lyrics. This is an almost perfect 12" in my opinion. The production is on point too. Very simple & plain production but yet so suited. Don't you think? I admit his flow cudda been better but you can almost never have it all perfect.
This guy comes from South Jamaica, Queens in New York and this 12" were released in 1995 on Kick Ass Records. That label brought some illness. Both Darcsyde and Militant Massive are worth hearing out on!
Aight, here is Absent Minded's second release called "Topics". This EP is alright. The winner is defenetly on the B-side called "Where I'm At". Such an amazing track, damn! What you think? The other tracks are junk compared to that gem. Give it a listen and I hope you'll like this EP, especially the "Where I'm At" track.
This record was released on two seperate labels; Breakin' Bread & Polydor in 1995 just as their first release.
Today I'll present to you one of my favorite swedish groups. My guess is that a lot of people ain't really familiar with this group. Because they have indeed been majorly slept on at least here in Sweden and I guess they've been slept on elsewhere in the globe too (Damn, why is it always that the best and most skilled groups/artists gets recognized the least? Seriously). I think they were recognized more in the States though, but that's just my guess. Either way, this is a very talented group & I will be posting all of their releases except for one which will be covered in their CD anyway.
Okey, Absent Minded consists of the rapper ADL and the producer Vladi.C from Stockholm, Sweden. This is their first 12" which were released on Breakin' Bread records in 1995. I would say this is their weakest release, but hey..maybe you find this 12" their strongest, who knows. We all have different taste, don't we.
Download THANKS TO THE ONE WHO ORIGINALLY SHARED THIS ONTO THE INTRAWEBZ!
Here is Major Stress. This is his first release & in my opinion the dopest outta his 12 inches. This was released in 1995 by Norfside Records. Both tracks were produced by Salaam Remi which is a very talented DJ and producer. You should defenetly check out some of his other works! Here is his homepage for those interessted.
The A-Side is the winner for me! What you think?
So..light up that L & relax!

Hey ya'll Hip Hop headz! As you can see I just started a blog which I'll be posting some dope motherfuckin' music on! I hope you will follow it because it's really worth it if you like Hip Hop - I can tell you that! I'm going to focus on mostly vinyl records, rare & common - some of which have been covered on some hidden blogspot before, but who cares. (Most likely the link is dead or most of the people haven't heard it anyway.) I'm also going to post CD's & Mixtapes which I think is worth being recognized a lot more and I'll try write a summery onto each post if I can be arsed to do it. I'll start with doing so though and we'll see how long I'll manage until the boredom reaches it's peak, heh. I'll be doing embed's from YouTube so you can hear the track so you know if you want to download it or not. Not everything will suit everyone's ears, ya' know. Anyway, we'll see how the blog turns out to be. Hopefully there will be some followers too, lol.
Anyway, some of you may be familiar with my YouTube page. If you aren't then you should check it out!
Worth to mention is that THE MORE FEEDBACK I GET THE MORE I WILL UPLOAD so do not hesitate to write a comment here & there. You can write which record you like and/or which track. Also, feel free to request something and if I have it I will upload it for you.
Peace 2 the headz!
:: Here is Chris Styles from Brooklyn, N.Y with his first release called "Mortal Combat" as seen. This was released 1995 on Mind Bending Music and this EP is quite hard to find. I'd appriciate if anyone got his other release. If you want something in return that you are looking for which I might have then that would be no problem. Just hit me up in the comment section. Thank you. ::
